Meet Kendra

As a natural introvert at heart, gravitating towards nature and quiet spaces, I love enjoying a long hike in the mountains, spending time by the water, watching the sunset from my condo balcony with my cat Flora, or gathering with loved ones for a home-cooked meal. And when it comes to wedding days, this calm and collected side of me loves finding those subtle moments that are somehow effortlessly beautiful. I love working with couples who, like me, may be a little reserved at first but open up fully in the presence of their loved ones – couples who value presence over perfection – those who embrace the sincere, are not afraid to show their emotions, and are intent on being fully immersed in their wedding day celebrations.

My job as a wedding photographer is to document your day, not direct it. Over the years, my photography style has developed into a balance of editorial and documentary storytelling. Although I focus on those genuine moments that naturally occur on your wedding day, your gallery will encompass the entirety of your celebration, including those beautiful wedding portraits we all love, the little details that you worked so hard to curate, and candid photos of the people you love the most. Throughout our time together, I’ll be as involved as you like – guiding you with gentle direction when needed and documenting as you do the rest, celebrating with your loved ones just as you are.

My Approach

Your wedding is a special day – one that’s emotional, symbolic, and significant – and joining in as your photographer is a true honour, which translates into my overall values and approach. When it comes to working together, it’s important to me that you feel supported throughout every one of our interactions. From the initial inquiry until the day of the delivery and even onwards from that, I’ll be there to check-in, offer advice including an in-depth planning guide, and show up as a friend who’s truly elated to be celebrating your love story.
