These two sweethearts were one of my first couples in 2020 who decided to go ahead and tie the knot even with tight restrictions and a very heavily reduced guest list, and it honestly could not have been a more beautiful, heartfelt day.
The day started off with Kaitlyn getting ready at her parents house with just her parents and her sister present, before heading off to a family friend’s orchard for their intimate outdoor ceremony and reception. They chose to see each other before the ceremony and spent some time with just the two of them, and then their small wedding party, soaking in the day. Their ceremony was so magical, with Kaitlyn’s maid of honour and her husband leading their guests in worship, and the guests laughing through the short rain shower that came down as Kaitlyn and Ian were pronounced husband and wife. All the decor from start to finish was a labor of love by Kaitlyn and her dad and it could not have come together more beautifully!
So thankful for these two who were such a light in some especially difficult and confusing couple of months in the wedding industry. Their day was such a great reminder of what weddings are all about. Love, marriage, family, and the support of everyone around you!
